For families and parents
Peace at home, step by step
A care worker who speaks your language, comes to your home and understands the paperwork. You set the pace yourself, and you can always stop.
What we do
You stay in charge, we walk alongside you
Amani is voluntary help: you ask us to get involved and you decide how far we go. Everything we write down, we discuss with you first, and you decide who may read it. Our only task is to make things work at home again.
-
Guidance at the kitchen table
Once or twice a week your care worker comes round. We work on agreements at home, school, money and dealing with authorities.
-
Coming along to meetings
To the municipality, school or Veilig Thuis. Afterwards we explain what was said and whether the agreements match what you understood.
-
Letters and forms
Just bring your post to the meeting. We read along, translate and help with applications and objections.
What it costs
Youth help is paid for by the municipality. You do need a referral from, for example, your GP, the youth doctor or the municipality. We help you request one.
How it works
From application to first conversation
You don’t need to know how youth care works. That is our job.
